To get admission to MSc course at TMI, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. Aspirants must graduate with minimum 60% aggregate in BTech Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Nautical Technology/ Naval Architecture/ Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering. Else, candidates having a three-year Diploma as Deck/ Engine Room Officer or BSc in Nautical Science with a minimum of 60% average with Class I Certificate of Competency as Master/ Chief Engineer may also apply for this course. The tuition fee for one-year MSc courses at TMI is INR 3 lakh. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative. Students are requested to visit the official website to get more details on TMI MSc fees. The tuition fee is the same for both the MSc specialisations, i.e., Marine Engineering and Technical Shipment. There will be additional charges for on-campus single accommodation. The food charges are also excluded. Apart from this, to study at Strathclyde, students have to pay a separate tuition fee along with side charges for boarding and lodging.

For Tolani Maritime Institute DNS admission, candidates must have passed Class 10 or 12 with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with at least 50% marks in English. Admission to this course is done with a three-level selection process. The institute accepts a valid score of the respective entrance exam. To get admission to BSc Nautical Science at Tolani, the minimum eligibility criteria is to pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate in PCM subjects. Candidates also must acquire 50% aggregate in English subject. The maximum age of a candidate shall be 21 years and only unmarried candidates can apply for this course.
