Dear Sethupathy,
If you have lost your mobile with sim, you can still apply for a duplicate SIM by blocking the previous one. Alternatively, in case you have registered your email you will get notifications through mail also.

The cut off trend for various branches in BC category from year 2015, 2016 and 2017 were as under.
1. BE Civil engineering. 181.75-192.25
2. BE CSE 192-194.25
3. BE EEE 189.5-194.25
4. BE ECE 192.25-195
5. BE EIE 187.5-191.5
6. B.Tech-IT 189.5-192
7. BE Mech 191.5-195
So, your chances are good for Civil engineering. Branch.

Students must apply for TNEA. For TNEA. Candidates need to passed HSC or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. And NIOS offers senior secondary course equivalent to class 12th. So, TNEA accepts NIOS. Among ECE and CSE, deciding which one is better depends on the person's interest. Both are equally good. If you love coding and stuff, then it'll be better to choose CSE, and if you love more of circuits and robotics, then choose ECE. Between ECE and CSE, there are higher chances of CSE getting higher pay packages. But don't get disheartened. As for campus placements, mainly IT companies visit and they pool both from ECE and CSE background depending only on your abilities. Again, both the streams will give you a lot of scope for higher studies!

Hello Ravi,
The amount to be paid varies from one college to another. You may contact the admin of the college for the payment that you need to make. Generally, the fees would be lesser than management quota seats in case of private colleges.

You cannot apply on the basis of both the quotas. You need to mention either of these while filling the application.

The average fee structure would be around 50-70 k per annum and it varies for regular and self-supporting courses. Other than this, you may need to pay hostel charges, if required.

MIT offers only 8 courses if I am not wrong where as PSG offers 18 different courses now including Robotics. Aeronautical is good in MIT where as PSG doesn't have the course. Location also matters when you choose a college. I had around 15 guys in my batch ( BE Production) 20082012 from Chennai when they had the option to take any course from MIT and a few available courses from CEG, even then they preferred PSG to CEG/MIT.
