No, Sastra University is a deemed university. It has it’s own syllabus and curriculum. We don't need TNEA counselling to join there. Admission in Sastra University is now over. College is reopening on 19th July 2019. All the best.

SS stands for 'self supporting' courses. Self-supporting courses are courses started by colleges without financial assistance from the government in any institution. There is no difference as such but it might be that they charge higher fees. Hope this satisfies your query. All the best.
