On the day of the UCEED 2026 exam, shikha.com correspondents did a live coverage of the exam. Our correspondents spoke to the exam takers once they came out of the exam hall and tried to extract all the key information about the exam and corresponding events.

This student interaction includes insights on the expected cut-off as well. The student were also asked to explain why they believe the cut-off would be what they think. The candidate by consulting the exam analysis would be able to access their performance.

IIT Bombay, which is the exam conducting body of UCEED will prepare the question paper for the entrance exam. The question paper of UCEED will include two parts - Part A and Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both parts and also qualify Part A. Note that the Part B answer booklet will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A.

IIT Bombay doesn't release any exam analysis for the UCEED exam. It simply conducts the exam and releases the draft and final answer keys. Consequently, no official analysis is available for the UCEED 2026 exam.

Students seeking admission to BDes course (Bachelor of Design) at IIT Delhi are required to sit for UCEED exam 2023. UCEED releases qualifying cutoff in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Delhi BDes courses.

Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Delhi.
