If you have maintained a note, ensure you regularly go through the important points
Do timely revision of all the topics, especially the sticky concepts
Solve as many sample papers you can. Also take knock tests to get into the exam mood. Mocks will help you get an exam like ambience and you can get an idea as to how the question paper would be look like, the sections you need to attempt first, etc. Pay close attention to your health - sleep the full quote of hours, stay hydrated, do light exercise, and stay happy. It is also a good idea

Make a study time table
Take note of weightage carried by various sections, and dedicate time accordingly. Another point to note is the difficulty level of the exam. Get going with your preparation without any delay
Take notes during study; this exercise will not only help you stay focused, but jot down all the important points. These notes will also come in handy for quick revision. Solve sample papers and take mock tests.

The cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2025 will be released alongside the seat allotment results, around the 2nd week of April 2025. The cut-off would be released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off would ne released for all give participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria for Round I will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2025 counseling will have five seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.

The admission cut-off for UCEED 2026 will be released in last week of April, 2026.
The seat allotment will be released online at the UCEED 2026- IIT Bombay admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in.
To download the seat allotment-cum-cutoff, you need to click on the seat allotment download button given under B. Des 1st Round of Seat Allotment heading. Note that no log-in is required to download the seat allotment results pdf.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seat and pay the fees. Note that candidates were also given the option to withdraw their seats.

The closing rank for IIT Hyderabad was 43. So, if you secure a merit rank of 100 in the UCEED 2026 exam, you chances of admission to the B. Des will be very low. To have a good chance of admission into the institute, you must target a UCEED merit rank within the top 40. However, note that if you belong to reserved categories, in that case the cut-off would be lower. Further, you will be considered for admission under both the reserved category and open category.

IIT Bombay is among the most popular institutes to pursue a design course in India. So, it is no surprise that cut-off for admission to the institute is pretty high. UCEED Cutoff marks for Part A will be out on February 05, 2026. For IIT Bombay, in 2024, the cutoff marks for Open category was: Opening: 1 and Closing: 14.

Yes, UCEED Cutoff will be round specific. It will be released separately for each round of seat allotment. Candidates who meet cut-off criteria in their categories will be considered for admission to the B. Des programme.
Cut-off for each round will be different for various categories like OPEN, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, etc. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria for the category in a specific round will be eligible for admission to the B. Des programme. In case of candidates who fail to meet the cut-off in the first few rounds will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds.
