Yes, you will get a piece of very coarse paper for the solving during the UGC NET examination. Blank sheets to make rough work inside the examination room will be given by NTA. The important aspect that you need to learn about is that you're not allowed to carry anything as paper or stationery within the exam center but get everything provided there at the examination venue itself. Candidates are supposed to submit the rough sheets to the invigilator upon the completion of the test. This enables you to perform calculations for logical reasoning and data interpretation without any hassle in the test.

If you're a physiotherapist pursuing a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course, you should choose the UGC NET subject that corresponds to your area of specialisation in your post-graduation.
If your post-graduation subject isn't listed in the UGC NET subject list, you can choose a related subject.
Some subjects that are part of the MPT course syllabus include: Advanced Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Biomechanics, Physiotherapeutic Techniques and Approaches,
Research Methodology and Biostatistics, and Electrophysiology and Electrotherapy.
To be eligible for the MPT course, you must:

Yes, as an M.Sc student, you have the option of appearing in UGC-NET in the Education subject in Mathematics. Candidates can select subjects in UGC-NET of their choice and credentials. But you must check the syllabus for the Education subject to see if you are well versed with the concepts or not. The NTA released the UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip for the exam dates. The UGC NET 2024 December session exam is conducting from Jan 3 to Jan 27, 2025. The Candidates may please note that city slip is not the Admit Card for the examination. This is advance information for the allotment of the city where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates.

Yes, you can apply for UGC NET. Please note that to be eligible for UGC NET, the interested candidate must have a Master's degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university. The interested candidate should have scored at least 55% marks in the Master's degree.

The UGC NET 2024 examination dates for the December session were January 3, 2025 to January 27, 2025. NTA postponed the January 15 exam. The new dates were January 21 and 27, 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the UGC NET December 2024 for (i) 'awardof Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', (ii) 'appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.' and (iii) 'admission to Ph.D. only' for 85 subjects in CBT, mode.
