The UGC NET 2024 June exam was conducted on August 28, in two shifts. The subjects covered during each shift are mentioned below:
Shift 1 Subjects: Museology and Conservation, as well as various Economics topics (including Rural Economics, Co-operation, Demography, Development Planning, Development Studies, Econometrics, Applied Economics, Development Economics, and Business Economics)
Shift 2 Subjects: Punjabi, Tamil, and Geography.

The authority will release the UGC NET 2025 June session notification on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Along with the notification, the UGC NET 2025 application form link will be activated at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for the UGC NET 2025 June session will be mentioned in the notification, which has not yet been released. Those candidates who wanted to appear for the June session need to fill out the application form until the last date that will be mentioned in the June session notification 2025.

The December session exam dates for UGC NET 2025 was released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The exam will be conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026. The authority released the UGC NET notification on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Here's the UGC NET eligibility for Biology exams:
- Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
- Minimum 55% for General/General-EWS and 50% for OBC/SC/ST, Third gender, PwD candidates.
- Marks should not be rounded off. Enrolled in M.Sc. or completed 10+2+3 years; Must complete the qualifying degree within two years from the date of CSIR-UGC NET Test result declaration.

The eligibilty of UGC NET for Library and Information Science needs a highlight here:
Students must have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with atleast 55% marks, 50% for reserved categories.
Final-year Master's students are also eligible, provided they complete their degree within the specified time.
