Yes, Bangalore Institute of Management Studies (BIMS) is University Grants Commission approved. Bangalore Institute of Management Studies is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Karnataka. It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is a statutory body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GoI). Therefore, Bangalore Institute of Management Studies is both UGC and AICTE approved.

RGPV is recognised by UGC and accredited with an A grade by NAAC. RGPV was established in 1988 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Under its umbrella there are 05 UTD's, 200 affiliated Engineering Colleges, 98 Pharmacy Colleges, 95 MCA Colleges and 04 Architecture Colleges imparting Graduate level instructions running around 17 under graduate level courses, 85 Polytechnic institutions offering Diploma courses in emerging and conventional disciplines. Yes, GNIOT Group Of Institutions has been Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.) And henceforth holds the right of UGC Approval and offers Degrees granted by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 are recognised, subject to programme approval by the relevant SPCs, wherever applicable.

Yes, candidates UGC CSIR qualification are exempted from PhD entrance test. However, they have to sit for an interview round conducted by the University.

As per the information available of the official website of the University, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University degree and post-graduate degree programmes are duly recognised and approved by the ' University Grant Commission (UGC)'. Apart from the MBA course, YCMOU all the architecture graduate and post-graduate programmes are also recognised and approved by the “ Council of Architecture (CoA)”.
