The Shinde Institute is not listed as a UGC approved college in the UGC list. However, it is important to note that the list only includes colleges under UGC Act 1956, Sections 2 (f) and 12 (B), and the Shinde Institute does not fall under these categories. Also, the survey refers to Shinde Institute as an engineering institute, and engineering institutes tend to be AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) approved rather than specifically mentioning UGC Shinde Institute of Engineering as AICTE3 approved. Yes, ITM Vocational University is UGC- University Grant Commision approved. The University was established in 2014 and is a part of ITM Group, a known educational conglomerate.
