Established in 1997, the Netaji Subhas Open University is a UGC-approved University. The university offers courses in distance mode. It has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade and has also been recognised by DEC and the Gov. of West Bengal. It is also an active member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Association of Asian Open University (AAOU), and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

Yes, Sai University Chennai is a private university that was established by the Tamil Nadu State Legislature through the Sai University Act. The Sai University Chennai is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). All the UG and PG courses offered by the university are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). These UG courses that are approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) are BTech, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), and BA LLB (Hons).

Yes, IMS Dehradun is a constituent of the Unison Education Foundation and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission), The State Government, the Bar Council of India, and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Hence, the university provides UGC-approved courses to students. The UGC approval means that the degree is valid all over India.
