Yes, students who have done master's from correspondence, are eligible for the UGC NET exam. It's not necessary to do regular post-graduation courses. Only you should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in master.

Yes, As per the articles, I have seen that Madurai Kamraj University is UGC, Delhi approved but for distance learning courses and for other than distance learning courses, I have doubt about that.

No, General Knowledge questions won't be asked in the exam but general aptitude might come in the exam and you must have proper practice for that and if you have solved even some of the logical reasoning questions then I am pretty sure that you would nail it. Best of luck.
