To secure admission to UID Delhi NCR Campus, the institute accepts the score of UID DAT followed by a Portfolio Evaluation (PE) and Personal Interview. The college might accept the score of the entrance examination to grant scholarships to BD students. However, for admission to BDes courses, the college only accepts the score of UID DAT.

At the Ahmedabad campus, Unitedworld Institute of Design has a total of 80 seats for MDes. This seat intake is across all the offered course specialisations. After final selection, the seat allotment is done as per the sanctioned intake. This seat intake is as per official sources. Hence, is indicative. Moreover, the MDes seat intake at the NCR campus is 40. 

There are a few practical subjects included in the UID Ahmedabad MDes (Fashion Design) course curriculum. Apart from this, theory subjects, such as basic design, textiles for fashion, fundamentals of fashion styling are included in the syllabus. Mentioned below are the lab subjects:

Yes, the candidates pursuing MDes from UID have to complete an industry internship in the last year of the course. This internship is included in the course curriculum to ensure that candidates gain field experience. Apart from this, a project also has to be submitted to the institute. 

The admission process is ongoing at UID Ahmedabad for the MDes course. It generally begins with the release of UID DAT exam registrations. The UID DAT 2025 exam is scheduled on Jan 25. Further, the shortlisted candidates will have to take part in other selection rounds. The situation test and portfolio evaluation will be carried out from Mar 27 to Apr 10. This entrance exam is conducted by the institute for admission to courses offered at Ahmedabad and NCR campus. It is conducted in online mode and is of 100 marks in total.
