The second tier involves a Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PE) conducted on the UID campus. The Tier 2 evaluations will take place from March 27 to April 10, 2025. To get admission to any course, camdidates are required to follow these process. Unitedworld Institute of Design does not offer direct admissions. The selection to BDes (Hons) and MDes course is based on UID-DAT scores. Selected candidates are further called for portfolio interview. Further, for management quota, college offers admission based on last qualifying exam score. The college informs the candidates about their selection. Once selected, candidates are required to pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

Admission to Unitedworld Institute of Design is based on an entrance exam. To be eligible for any of the courses, candidates must have a valid score on the UID DAT exam. Additionally, After scoring well in the UID DAT exam, candidates are required to appear in portfolio reviews and personal interaction rounds conducted by the college.
