No, though it may seem that Universal College of Engineering accepts only MHCET scores / counselling for its BTech course admissions. But the college also accepts other national level entrance exams such as JEE Mains for admission to its various BTech courses and specialisations. For admissions to Universal College of Engineering Vasai students must first meet the course specific requirements such as having passed Class 12 from a recognised board with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Physics, Maths and Vocational. Students must also have an aggregate score of 50% or 45% for reserved categories. Admissions depend on entrance exam scores such as MHCET.
