Indian students looking for mentorship and guidance from UArizona alumni can join the Wildcat Mentor Society or the Bear Down Network.

  • Wildcat Mentor Society pairs current students with alumni mentors who provide professional guidance and real-world industry expertise
  • The Bear Down Network lists contact information of alumni, their current and past employment history. This makes it easier for students to find the right mentors.

Check the alumni network page on arizona.edu to know more.

No, Indian students don't need to submit a separate application for most merit-based scholarships. UArizona automatically considers students for scholarships as per their completed admission application.

Students need to maintain a unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for merit-based financial aid.

Indian students need to pay an enrollment deposit worth USD 450 (INR 43.2 K) to confirm their seat for the incoming classes. It is due before students can register for orientation or apply for on-campus housing.

Students can pay the deposit by logging into the Next Steps Center using their NetID. Select Flywire to pay the fees in INR.

Yes, UA does have an active Indian student organization. Students can contact the Uni Arizona Indian Student Association via their social media handle (@uaarizona_isa).

The association organizes several cultural and academic events such as game and movie nights. Indian students also get help with regards to adapting to life in the US and other support services.
