The University of Connecticut expects a GPA between 3 and 3.5 on a scale of 4 depending upon the course from the international students. The student who is willing to be a part of the university must aim for at least a 3.7 GPA to enhance their chances of selection. Along with the GPA, the university emphasizes class rank and academic and standardized test scores. Along with the GPA, students must aim to score between 28 and 33 on the ACT and 1220 and 1440 on the SAT to become considerable for admission.

The admission eligibility can be met through submission of application through Common app or the university official portal. Programs at UConn have their own admission eligibility criteria for international students.

GRE or GMAT scores are not requirements for University of Connecticut graduate admissions. However, some courses may require the GRE, specific GRE Subject Tests, or the GMAT score for admission. GRE and GMAT scores are only valid for five years (from the original test date to submission of the UConn application with the fulfillment of application fee payment).
