Yes, The Guardian University Guide rankings are realized for the UK-based universities only. Some of the few indicators that are used to compute the rankings of these universities are entry standards, student-staff ratio, teaching quality, feedback, career prospects, etc.
UEA ranks at #45, which is a decline by 12 spots as the university ranked higher in the year 2024 at the rank #33. The rankings for this university are constantly declining since 2023.

QS World University Rankings are one of the most comprehensive rankings that have offered World University Rankings since 2004. For the year 2025, the University of East Anglia QS ranking is #149 in the 'Europe' category which is a decline from the last year as the ranking for that year was #140 among the world's best universities. In the 'world university' category, this university ranks at #332 for the year 2023. These rankings are fluctuating since they improved significantly in the year 2024 from 2023, however fell again.
