Since Galway University opened its doors first time in 1845, this campus has been evolving constantly to accommodate the growing number of students. At present, the main campus of this university has over 90 buildings on 105 hectares of land located on the banks of the River Corrib. The campus is located in the heart of the city centre. Students can get involved in 120+ societies and 50+ clubs to enjoy the campus life.
