The University of Guelph is known for its warm and friendly campus atmosphere. For numerous years in row, the university has been ranked by international students in Ontario as the best university in the province for its living and learning environment, and support for international students. Furthermore, the campus offers many opportunities for students to become involved in their community and gain leadership experience. It has around 2,000 international students from nearly 140 countries.

Guelph University admission requirements for Masters in Biotechnology course are given as follows:

  • The applicants must have completed an Honors bachelor’s degree with a minimum admission average of B (75% or higher) in one of the following fields: Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology and Genetics / Biochemistry / Biophysics / Food Science / Agriculture / Food Production Systems
  • A strong Science background
  • TOEFL score of 93 / IELTS score of 7.0 / Duolingo score of 130
  • GRE score is not required

The US News & World Report Rankings for University of Guelph for 2022 was 483, whereas for 2021 was 483.

Yes, you can apply if you've appeared for the Class 12th Board exam and the result is awaited. For that, you will have to present your verified Class 10th Board results along with the anticipated Class 12th scores (minimum 80% required). In May/June, you will have to submit Class 12 Board certificate with the first division.
