Yes, Indian applicants can still receive an offer letter after the UCAS application deadline has passed at the University of Hertfordshire. However, the condition for the same is that the seats at this university are free.
The UK universities generally operate on a rolling basis until the seats are full. The final UCAS consideration deadline is closed.

The May Intake at the University of Hertfordshire is a smaller intake compared to the other intakes available at Herts.
The Herts May intake is focused mainly on some PG courses and specific UG courses.
While the September intake at this university is popular, the May intake offers flexibility and is offered in areas, take a look -

No, the University of Hertfordshire is generally considered a really solid, modern university with a high employment rate. But it is not considered a top-tier UK university.
As per QS rankings, Hertfordshire University is ranked at #901 for the year 2026. Along with QS, multiple other ranking bodies have also ranked them well.

Yes, the University of Hertfordshire offers conditional admissions for the MS courses if a student has pending English language scores or outstanding documentation.
Given below are the important guidelines for the same -
- The conditional requirement for the English language requirement is to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 5.5 band in any sub skill

As per the same, there is a huge improvement in the 'Global University Rankings' of the University of Hertfordshire. In 2025, the Global Ranking was #897, which has improved to #1101 in 2024.
