The entire cost of tuition for Central University of Jammu's B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is INR 5.28 Lakh. In addition, a one-time admission fee of INR 20,750 is required.

It is affiliated with UGC and accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ Grade. Over fifty government and non-government colleges are affiliated with the University of Jammu. The University has eight offsite campuses, over 8,400 students and 326 faculty members.

The Central University of Jammu's MCA programme has the following prerequisites for admission:

A minimum of 50% of the total marks (45% for SC/ST and disabled students) must be earned in a minimum of three years at an accredited university with information technology, computer science, computer applications, or electronics as one of their disciplines.

At Central University of Jammu, an MCA requires a minimum of 50% of degree credits.
