The deadlines to get admission into BSc courses at Central Agricultural University can differ as per the state-nominated, ICAR CUET UG, and self-financed candidates. Yes, Indian students are eligible to apply for the DAAD scholarship.

- The German application process can be long, & therefore students are advised to begin their research ASAP

German actor: Axel Prahl, is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.
Axel pursued a degree in acting at the institute between 1982 & 1985, before going to make his acting debut in the TV series for ZDF in 1994.
Prahl, won several accolades for his acting including two Adolf Grimme Awards, & is also known for acting in 23 episodes of the crime series: Tatort.

Juliane Koepcke, a Mammologist of German-Peruvian descent is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.
Juliane is famous for being the sole survivor of the LANSA plane crash of 1971, after lightning struck the plane at mid-night, & the plane disintegrated with Koepcke surviving the free fall into the Amazon Rainforest.
The event was depicted in the movies: Miracles Still Happen (1974) & Wings of Hope (1998).
