Central Agricultural University accepts its entrance examination conducted for PG courses, followed by a counselling process. Moreover, as per some of the sources too, the university accepts relevant ICAR AIEEA PG scores. German actor: Axel Prahl, is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.

Axel pursued a degree in acting at the institute between 1982 & 1985, before going to make his acting debut in the TV series for ZDF in 1994.

Prahl, won several accolades for his acting including two Adolf Grimme Awards, & is also known for acting in 23 episodes of the crime series: Tatort.

Juliane Koepcke, a Mammologist of German-Peruvian descent is a notable alumni of the University of Kiel.

Juliane is famous for being the sole survivor of the LANSA plane crash of 1971, after lightning struck the plane at mid-night, & the plane disintegrated with Koepcke surviving the free fall into the Amazon Rainforest.

The event was depicted in the movies: Miracles Still Happen (1974) & Wings of Hope (1998).
