Apply for housing as soon as you receive the admission letter. Because the demand for housing is high and it is wise to avoid the hassle of finding off-campus housing in Kiel.

No, Indian students cannot directly apply for a UG degree Kiel Uni of Applied Sciences after Class 12th in India. Universities in Germany requires atleast 13 years of schooling to be eligible for UG degree.

Indian students can apply after a 1-year Studienkolleg program in Germany to prepare for the university entrance test or have completed atleast 1 year of UG studies in India.

Yes, Indian students have to pay an application fee worth EUR 75 (INR 7.9 K) when applying via the Uni-assist portal. After that, to confirm their seat at the university, students also pay an enrollment fee worth EUR 100 (INR 10.5 K). Both fees are only to be paid once during the studies at HAW Kiel Germany.
