In the scenario, if two or more aspirants for the BPharm course at LU secure the same marks/ranks in the entrance examination, the university follows some rules for allocating the seat to deserving candidates, rules are:
- The candidate, who has secured a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination will be given preference.
- If the marks secured in Class 12 or equivalent examination are the same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who has secured a higher percentage of marks at Class 10 or equivalent examination.
- If the marks obtained in the Class 10 or equivalent examination are also the same,

To secure a seat in the BPharm programme at Lucknow University, candidates need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements, including academic qualifications and any other criteria such as good scores in CUET and AKTU entrance.

Both Lucknow University and Kanpur University are reputed institutions for pursuing BPharm However, the median package offered to BPharm students in 2023 at Kanpur University is INR 3.75 LPA. On the other hand, according to the 2023 placements statistics, Lucknow University provides a median package of INR 14.4 Lacs to its UG students. LU is also known for its good infrastructure and provides a good learning environment. This answer is analysed on the basis of verified Shiksha review of BPharm students and alumni of Lucknow University, the exact reviews are quoted below:
Review 1: The percent of students who were placed in my course is 90%. It is quite good; the students are very happy to have gotten such a placement. I would also be grateful if I got a chance to sit in on a placement.
Review 2: Around 50-55% of students got placed in our college. Some students got placed in Himalaya Wellness Company with a good salary package.
Review 3: College provided placement but only 20 - 30 % Students are selected according to their knowledge and skills

During form filling and BPharm admission process at Lucknow University, candidates shall ensure that they keep a few documents handy. These documents are required for verification purposes. Absence of the same may cause trouble during admission. Candidates are advised to keep both the originals and photocopies handy. The admission process at the CUET participating colleges will take place based on the counselling process. Lucknow University will conduct separate counselling rounds for the qualifying candidates. The admission process is given below:
- Each participating institute will release its rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2024.
- Candidates will have to register online after CUET result declaration and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
- Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission

The university accepts the CUET scores and AKTU counselling for admission to the BPharm course. The application deadline for CUET and AKTU counselling processes were on April 5, 2024 and July 10, 2024, respectively. However, the Lucknow University BPharm deadline for filling out an application form with valid scores has not been released yet. Deadlines will be expected to be released in mid-August 2024. So, candidates have an opportunity to complete the application process in the meantime.
