The deadline for submitting the application form for the DPharm programme at Lucknow University is usually announced in the month of July. However, the admission dates are announced in the month of April. Currently, the application portal for the DPharm course is closed. Registered candidates are expected to appear in the entrance examination that takes place in the middle of July. After the entrance examination, the university expects to release the result and merit list in the middle of August.

The students wanting to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) course from LU University should have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects and students must secured at least 50% in their boards. In addition, candidates should have been appeared for UGPET entrance examination. Students must also hold the documents or pass certificates at the time of form filling or admission. These documents are required by the university for verification purposes.

No, the UGPET score is mandatory to get admission to a DPharm course at Lucknow University. The UGPET entrance examination for the DPharm course is ussually held in the mid of July every year. UGPET is conducted in an offline mode. Candidates can take the exam at the designated test centres as notified by Lucknow University. Hence, candidates are not allowed to get admission through management quota for the DPharm course.

Yes, Lucknow University BPharm lateral entry admission is completely entrance-based. The University of Lucknow BPharm admission is based on candidates' performance in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) entrance test. For LU BPharm regular course, admission shall be made through AKTU counselling.
