In order to add or delete a recommender, log onto your application, and update your "Recommender Provider List" in the "Recommendations" section. Recommenders will be deleted in case they have not submitted a recommendation. In place of these deleted recommenders you may be asked to add more if needed or may not be intimated if the time for application is over.

No, University of Maryland does not offer financial aid or graduate/teaching assistantships to international students. However, international students can look for scholarships through external agencies or apply for loans through private or public banks and also consider requesting a family member to sponsor their education in USA for the University of Maryland admissions.

As per the concerned Department's inputs, recommendations are made on a rolling basis from March through May for Fall admission and from October through December for Spring admission at the University of Maryland. Thus, there is a minimum time set by the University of Maryland for assessing the applications, hence, students are encouraged to keep a track of their admission applications. As soon as the decisions are released by the University of Maryland, students would be intimated through their official email ids.

No, the University of Maryland does not require GRE scores for assessing applications. In case the applicant has already given the exam and wishes to share his scores he/she can. The applicant will have to mark in their respective applications in case they wish to indicate their GRE scores for admissions at the University of Maryland. Its completely up to the apploicant whether he/she is willing to submit the scores or not. The University of Maryland admissions in turn, would not be affected if students choose not to submit these scores.

The minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0 for admission to the University of Maryland. The University of Maryland requires its students to be at the top of their class. International students would need nearly straight A's in all their classes to compete with other applicants. Also, they should also have taken plenty of Andhra Pradesh or IB classes to show their ability to excel in academic challenge. Rest depends upon the overall academic performance of the applicant and his/her keen interests and answers in support of it.
