Yes, the University of Würzburg is open to international students and students from India and offers admission for both winter and summer terms. Indian students have to apply for a student permit to study in Germany and have to fulfill important entry requirements, such as submitting a high school diploma, certificates of higher qualifications, language tests (German-English), and other specific program requirements. The university is also trying to have a diverse batch of students which comprises of more and more international students so it gives preference to Indian and Asian students.

The minimum TOEFL score required for admission to the University of Wurzburg is 83. The University also accepts various English proficiency tests besides TOEFL. No, international students cannot study for free at Wurzburg. Although the university does not charge any tuition fee, international students are still required to pay a semester fee.

Undergraduate deadlines are in July for the Winter Semester and in mid-Jan for the Summer Semester. Graduate deadline differ as per the programme and intake semester. Some graduate programs are offered only in the Winter Semester, so applicants are requested to check the official website for more information. Usually, the Winter Semester deadlines fall in March, June, or July, depending on the major/course.
