There is no any tip. But you should choose max no. Of colleges and don't forget to save and continue just after locking 5 colleges because it's a very site you may redirect from the existing page and then you will loss your saved college so don't forget to save and continue.

Your domicile certificate, caste certificate, rank card, medical certificates, class 10th and class 12th mark sheet, passport size photo, income certificate are required during the time of counseling.

There is difference between government college fee and private college fee. Government college fee will be around 50k annually, and private will be INR 1 lacs annually.
