With your OBC rank, you definitely have a chance of getting a government college. Keep an eye on counselling, it might take the last round but you are going to get it. Good luck.

In many cases, the administrators are aware that students will make mistakes and hence have a window of opportunity for students to make amends. However, I would advise you to approach the administrator with your dilemma and hope for a positive response.
