In many cases, the administrators are aware that students will make mistakes and hence have a window of opportunity for students to make amends. However, I would advise you to approach the administrator with your dilemma and hope for a positive response.

There is a less chance of getting a government college as per your rank.

You cannot get any government college but you can go for private colleges.

With this rank you won't get CS or mechanical at IET though you may get some decent government colleges.
