Every year, the cutoff varies slightly. So, I advise you to score as much as you can. Because, the more score you get means that higher marks from the cutoff the level for a government college through UPSEE increases. Go with the concepts and prefer NCERT, practice some previous papers also. If you are of general category, then you have to do hard work, since the cutoff for general goes high.

I don't want to demoralize you, but if you want a government college with this score, it seems to be impossible, but yes if you want a private college then on the basis of these marks, you can get a college of your choice.

Every year, there is some cutoff for every category which have to be score by the student. Cut-off change every year. It is not fixed since it depend upon the highest marks score, total number of candidate appeared etc. For a general category, the cutoff is higher than another. In my opinion, one as a general category must score 200+ for getting admission to college.

Hello Amitesh,
Finding cutoffs of previous years and extrapolating it to next year is very tough proposition. There are many dynamic variables. Difficulty level of exam, preference to a particular branch, performance of students etc. Best is to study well enough to have percentile of 75 that will ensure your admission in any institute.
