Even if you are in class 12 now, you can still take the UPESMET examination in January 2025. You are eligible to apply if you meet the eligibility criteria, including having completed 12th or being in your final year. However, please check the specific eligibility criteria for your course of interest on the official website, as the date and requirements might vary.

There is no provision for negative marking for incorrect answer (s). Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer. Each question will have four options, candidates will be required to select the correct answer. The UPESMET exam is designed to assess a candidate's knowledge and skills in related fields. The UPESMET exam is conducted online. Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer with no negative marking.

UPES will release the UPESMET admit card 2025 soon after the candidate book the exam slot. Registered candidates will be able to download the UPESMET 2025 admit card soon after the payment of the application fee. The UPESMET admit card mentions the candidate's details and exam day details.

    • Laptop, desktop computer, and Android mobiles (phones and tablets) only
  • Operating system
    • For desktop and laptops: Window 7 or above (Window 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu version 18.04, 16.04, 15,04 only) systems.
    • For android devices: Android verison 6 and later
  • Browsers
    • Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later)
  • Configuration
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo or above
  • Processor Speed
    • 1.5GHz and above
    • RAM: Minimum 1 GB

UPESMET exam is conducted for a duration of two hours. Candidates can appear for the UPESMET exam anytime between 10 AM to 2 PM on given date. UPESMET time will be counted as and when the candidate starts the test. No candidates will be able to access the test window beyond the mentioned timelines.

For admission to MBA programme of UPES Business School, candidates must follow the process below:

Stage 1: Fill the UPESMET application form

Stage 2: Appear for the UPESMET exam

Stage 3: Declaration of result; shortlisting of candidates

Stage 4: Appear for GD/PI Rounds

Stage 5: Final selection

No, It is not compulsory to appear for UPESMET for admission to MBA programme of UPES Dehradun. Candidates having valid score in CAT or GMAT will be exempted from taking UPESMET. Such candidates will be shortlisted for interview rounds basis on the score obtained in CAT or GMAT examination. 

However, if a candidate feels that his/her score in CAT or GMAT is not competitive enough, they can opt to take UPESMET exam. UPESMET 2025 will be held in multiple phases. UPESMET 2025 registrations has commenced.

Yes, UPESMET 2025 exam dates are being announced phase wise. UPES has released the UPESMET exam date 2025 in second week of October 2024. UPESMET exam will be conducted in multiple phases. UPES is releasing the UPESMET 2025 phase wise schedule online. Candidates can know the registration last date and UPESMET exam date for particular session.
