The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the UPPSC 2025 applications on February 20, 2025. The candidates are required to apply online on uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date to apply for the UPPSC 2025 exam is March 20, 2025. The candidates should note that the last date to submit the application fee is March 20, 2025. The Commission is expected to conduct the UPPSC 2025 prelims exam on October 12, 2025.

The Commission will also provide the UPPSC 2025 application correction facility till April 2, 2005. The candidates are required to read the official notification to get all the details for the UPPSC 2025 application.

The UPPSC PCS form was released on March 3 as per the dates mentioned in the short notice. The Commission released the official notification online and after its release, the UPPSC forms 2023 were also released online. The Commission released the exam dates for the UPPSC PCS prelims exam in the official exam calendar released on January 2, 2023. The candidates were allowed to apply for the UPPSC PCS 2023 exam till April 10. The last date to submit the UPPCS 2023 application fee was April 6. UPPSC PCS prelims 2023 exam will be conducted on May 14.

UPPSC PCS 2024 applications were started online on January 2, 2024. The Commission releases the short notification on January 1, 2024 in the newspapers. The Commission also started the UPPSC 2024 applicatons online on its official website - uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date to apply for the exam was February 9, 2024.

The Commission was expected to conduct the UPPSC 2024 exam on March 17 but it was postponed to July. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will soon release the new prelims exam date.

The UPPSC form 2023 was released online on March 3. The last date to apply for the UPPSC PCS 2023 exam was extended to April 10. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) released the exam calendar on January 2, 2023 and as per the exam calendar UPPSC Prelims 2023 exam will be conducted on May 14, a fortnight before the IAS prelims exam. The candidates were allowed submit the UPPSC PCS 2023 application fee till April 6 only. The UPPSC PCS notification is released ever year in February.

The last date to apply for UPPCS 2023 exam was April 10 now. The last date to submit the UPPSC 2023 application fee was April 6. The candidates should note the new dates application dates were mentioned on the official website of UPPSC. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the official UPPSC 2023 notification on March 3. The Commission provided over a month to fill out the UPPSC 2023 application form. The candidates should note that the PCS officers are recruited through the UPPCS exam and the educational qualification required to become a PCS officer is a graduate in any discipline. Some posts in UPPCS exam required additional educational qualification, which is mentioned in the official notification. There is no minimum percentage required to fill the UPPSC PCS application. The Commission provides a level playing field to all the candidates.

No, the UPPSC is the name of the state commission that is Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and PCS means the Provincial Civil Service. The PCS is the name of top service in the state (after IAS). The PCS officers are posted as SDM, Project Director and the likes. The PCS officers are only second to the IAS officers posted in the state. The PCS officers are eligible for promotion to the IAS cadre subject to certain conditions.

The State PCS Officers can be promoted to the IAS subject to certain conditions laid down by UPSC. Every year, out of the total vacancies of IAS (in a state), 33% is filled through the promotion. The minimum years of service is 12 years. Only after completing this much years in service, the candidate become eligible for such promotion. The UPSC will form a Committee for the promotion in the Chairmanship of UPSC member. States Chief Secretary will also be the member of that Committee.

There are 8 question papers in the UPPSC PCS main exam. All the papers are compulsory and the marks secured in all the papers are counted for the final merit. The UPPSC Main exam is a descriptive type exam where the candidates are required to write conventional essay type answers in the answer sheet provided by the Commission. In UPPSC prelims exam, there are two question papers where the second paper is qualifying only and the UPPCS Prelims General Studies paper 1 marks are calculated for the merit list.

A. UPPSC PCS is considered as one of the toughest exams in the state. The Age limit for UPPSC PCS exam is different for the different categories. It is defined as follows:

  • Lower Age limit is 21 years
  • Upper Age Limit is 40 years

The age of the candidates is counted as on July 1 of the exam year. The age is counted from January 1 of the exam year. 

The Commission provides relaxation in the upper age limit to candidates belonging to the reserve categories.
