The Commission will release the UPSC ESE 2026 Mains exam schedule on the official website at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have will cleare the Prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam on June 21, 2026. The schedule of the Mains exam once released will also be mentioned here:

The UPSC IES (ESE) 2025 Prelims Exam will be conducted on June 8, 2025, in two shifts. The forenoon shift is from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM for Paper 1 (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude paper); on the other hand, Shift 2 will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for Paper 2 (discipline-specific paper).

The UPSC will release the IES/ESE 2026 answer key on its official website - upsc.gov.in. The UPSC ESE answer key 2026 will be released after the declaration of the final result.

Yes, the Union Public Service Commission released the official notification for IES 2025 exam in September 2024 but the applications were extended due to the inclusion of IRMS vacancies in the IES 2025 exam. Similarly, the IES prelims 2025 was scheduled to be conductd in February, 2025.
The Commission postponed the IES prelims exam and now the IES 2025 prelims will be conducted on June 8, 2025.

The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the IES Prelims exam 2025 on June 8, 2025. The Commission revised the exam dates of the IES exam 2025 after the inclusion of Engineering Posts in the IES 2025 and revised IES applications.
The IES 2025 main exam will be conducted on August 10, 2025.

The application process for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 opened on September 18, 2024, with the first deadline being October 8, 2024. However, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) allowed both new candidates and current applicants to make the necessary modifications by reopening the application window from October 18 to November 22, 2024.
The dates of the Main Examination and the Preliminary Examination are August 10, 2025 and June 8, 2025, respectively.
