The UPSC IES 2025 Mains exam result is expected to be released in September 2025 or October first week. The commission has not yet announced the release date for the Mains result. The UPSC IES 2025 Mains exam was conducted on August 10.

It is advised to the candidates to focus on both Prelims and Mains syllabus rigorously. Understanding and mastering the content will not only enhance their understanding but also improve their chances of success in the examination. He or she should practice previous year papers and also go through the exam pattern properly. Practice mock test and improve accuracy.

The candidates can check the UPSC ESE/IES Cutoff 2026 in the following manner:
- Go to the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in
- Click on the 'Examination' tab given at the top
- A drop list will appear, Click on the Cutoff link appearing on the list
- The ESE Cutoff PDF link will appear in the list
- Click on the link and get the ESE cutoff for all the categories and phases

The official publication of the UPSC Indian Engineering Services (IES) exam cutoff for 2024 includes information on the minimal scores needed to qualify for each category. The IES 2024 exam's total cutoff scores are as follows: 238 for the OBC category and 238 for the General and EWS categories. 202 and 227 are the corresponding cutoff scores for SC and ST candidates. The candidates should note that as per the feedback of the candidates appeared in the IES prelims 2025 Shift 1 the overall difficulty level is moderate. Maths was scoring and easy. In Biology, questions asked was of class 12 level and easy. Some candidates felt that ethics section was challenging.
Based on the exam's difficulty level, the IES 2025 prelims cutoff is expected to remain high based on the difficulty level of the question paper.
