Your b. Tech score n gre score will matter. College plays secondary role. If not a lot of students from your college apply to USA then arranging LOR or PPI can be difficult. But you can prepare well in advance for that by speaking with your teachers at an early stage

Teaching of mathematics, applied mathematics, actuarial science, masters of math science. You can combine maths with economics for better career options. Since you are in second year, it will be good if you can appear for GRE soon

If you have given your step 1 and have scored around 220, then it's better to focus on your rotations and step 2 - CS and CK. Doing any diploma course of 12 months is not going to help you, rather it will distract you from the goal of scoring well in USMLE.
If you have some other motive to do this course in question, please mention it in detail.

Hi Neel,
You won't be obtaining a PR right after your studies, in US this is probably one of the most difficult to achieve. As a student you can avail work permit, graduates from Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are eligible to stay and work in US for 3 years, post which they must return back to their home country. Focus on obtaining the F-1 student visa, apply to universities on time, once you are admitted you can seek advice from the DSO (or foreign student advisor) regarding employment in US.
Hope it helped.

You can go and study a masters course in the same field. If you wish to go there and work, you will first have to find a job in your industry, which is hard only with a bachelors degree. It is advisable you first work in India, gain work experience and then apply to jobs abroad or you study your masters in hospitality from US.

Hi Chirag, graduation program in USA refers to master degree program. So by no doubt you must complete your bachelor's degree. For admissions you must take GRE and TOEFL. GRE requirement vary from university to university and you must search university websites for details.

Hi Raguhrai,
You may consider doing a one year PG Diploma course, a course from a recognized distance education center is also accepted. Alternatively enroll into a master degree program and complete the first year. Before pursuing a course I will advice you to consult with the university directly as many universities have the option of what is called WES evaluation required for three years bachelor degree. In that case you need not wait for another year. Hope this helped.
Good Luck!
