At Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, the intake capacity for BCom programmes is more than 23,000 seats. The number of seats for BCom at VBSPU may change every year. Admission to the BCom course is based on merit. However, the university retains the right to revise the intake. The students have to note that the sources of this seat intake are official. VBSPU selection criteria for BCom is merit-based. The university admits students based on marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. There is no entrance test conducted. Moreover, the university also doesn't conduct any entrance exam.

According to the official sources, the university offers more than 81,800 seats for the BSc programme. However, Tilakdhari Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya has the largest intake of all the affiliated colleges and institutes. However, total of 921 seats available for the BSc programme.
