The courses include BTech, MTech, MBA (Digital Business), and MSc in AI & ML, Data Science, and Economics & Management. The admission to the BTech programme of IIIT Lucknow is based on the rank of JEE Main. Candidates who qualify for the exam are admitted through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The admissions to the M.Tech programme are made through the written test conducted by IIIT Lucknow. Students who want IIIT Lucknow M.Tech admissions can apply by filling out the application form released on the IIIT Lucknow website. Post filling out the form, students will be shortlisted based on their performance on the written test. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) qualified candidates can also apply

Generally the students are required to score more than 75% or above to enter to the top 20 percentile of their respective boards just to be eligible for joint entrance examination (JEE).

Multiplying the overall grade score by the credit score of the subject by the total credit scores
