For government colleges like SGPGIMS and KGMU, admission is through the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow.
Whereas, for private colleges like Era University conduct their own written entrance test followed by a personal interview. Some colleges also accept merit based on Class 12 board marks.

Yes, BA admissions are still open at Lucknow University in academic year 2026. Admissions began in the last week of April this year. They are scheduled to close within May along with UPGET registrations. As a result, candidates are advised to apply for admissions as soon as possible.

Lucknow University has scheduled to close its BA admission on 31st May in academic year 2026. On this same date, UGPET registrations are also scheduled to close. Hence, candidates are strongly advised to register as soon as possible.

Yes, Lucknow University does offer most of its BA courses in honors mode. Candidates who wish to pursue BA in honors mode also have the option to add research to their BA curriculum. However, BA in Yoga is not offered in honors mode.

No, candidates cannot get direct admission into BA courses offered by Lucknow University after passing Class 12th. To become qualified for BA admissions, candidates will need to appear for UGPET first and clear it with an appropriate rank. Candidates who manage to do so will be allotted BA seats during the following counselling round.

University of Lucknow has not mentioned anything regarding admissions to candidates who are still waiting for their Class 12 board exam results. Thus, candidates will need to raise this query with admission desk for confirmation.

There are many management institutes located within Lucknow thus, it is hard to ascertain if Lucknow University charges higher or lower BBA fees.
Based on a comparison with a few institutes such as City College of Management, Lucknow University BBA fees is equal to other institutes.
