Yes, the University of Lucknow offers lateral entry to the BTech course. Lateral entry admission to this course is based on the merit of the Central University Entrance Test (CUET). Apart from the later entry admission, Lucknow University's regular BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) entrance test.

Lucknow University admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test PGET. All these entrance tests are conducted by the University of Lucknow. Apart from these, the University also accepts a few national-level entrance exams. Lucknow University also accepts direct admission to vacant & NRI seats for BTech & MCA programme.

Yes, for BTech admissions at MJPRU, Bareilly, candidates need to clear JEE Main exam. Moreover, for BTech (Lateral Entry) course, students need to qualify CUET UG. Also, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteroa for admissions. The eligibility criteria for admissions at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly for BTech course is that candidate should have been passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
