Both the universities have their own pros and cons.

  1. VIT is an old and an established university. Due to this, companies in the fortune 500 group also visit the campus for recruitment.
  2. SNU is a new university with a totally revised, updated and industry-ready curriculum. Only those courses which matter and have an impact are included in your syllabus.
  3. Since VIT is pretty old, it has tie-ups from more foreign universities.

There is no permanent dress-code basically there is no uniform in MIET - Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology. Students can wear what they want but it should be formal. It is advisable to maintain a neat and tidy appearance while attending classes or participating in university activities. This includes wearing clean and well-kept clothing.

The CGPA is calculated at MIET - Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology on the basis:- 1. Two internal exams and in that first internal exam had a good weight in your result rather than second internal exam 2. Assignment marks 3. Practical exam marks 4. University exam paper marks by combining all this the CGPA is calculated.

Retest option is available for missing exam at MIET - Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology with valid reasons for missing the exam. In most cases, they allow the students to retake the exams. It's very rare that they fail you in internals.
