Hello Mohit Shrivastav, it's a very interesting and at the same time intriguing query that you have raised. Of course the answer is quite simple. Every state has its own criteria for domicile for any student. Of course in majority of the cases it depends on the domicile of the parents. The cutoff information for the academic year 2021-22 is not yet available on the official website of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU Gorakhpur) as the admission process for the current academic year is still ongoing.
However, based on the previous year's cutoffs, the closing rank for admission to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at DDU Gorakhpur was around 25000-28000 for the General category. The closing rank for candidates belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories was relatively lower, at around 40000-45000.
