Hello Anshika, lateral entry means admission in a course that is not in first year of course. Like in 2nd year of three year Diploma course or 2nd year of four years engineering graduation course. Yes, it will be valid. Either it is from central universities, state universities or deemed universities. Most of the degrees are valid but it is from recognised universities as per UGC norms.
