Dear Raag, I cannot say anything about IMT Nagpur, IBS Hyderabad, Jaipuria Lucknow, XIME Bangalore, and IMS, Ghaziabad. But being alumni of LPU, I can provide you with the details of LPU. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields
Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. Keeping in sync with the concept I found LPU course curriculum very employable. It believes in building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from SEED to stomach. It runs B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture Programme ie for 4 years. Agriculture Students are exposed to live Commercial farms (350 acres) to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Students are also involved in Practical crop production, Rural and Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop And SEED Identification, Soil And Water Sampling And Analysis, Soil Description And Interpretation, Organic And Chemical Fertilizer etc. Projects other than regular course work. Agriculture deals with well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country or option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. The programme outcomes include Knowledge Enhancement, Professional Enhancement, Entrepreneurship Skills, Communication & Extension Skills, Team Work, Educational Leadership, Data Handling, Ethics and Computational Skills. Placement: 5.6 LPA (Rallis India) was the highest salary package last year. Huge number of Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Students are placed in the best brands like NESTLE INDIA LIMITED, BRITISH BIOLOGICALS, EBRO INDIA PVT LTD, SANRA ORGANICS, HINDUSTAN BEC TECH INDIA PVT LTD etc.
