The Uttaranchal University admisson process begins with the release of application forms. Candidates willing to apply can fill out the application form after meeting the course-specific eligibility criteria either through online or offline modes. 

After filling out the application form, the University will shortlist candidates based on the selection criteria. Uttaranchal University admission criteria for most of the courses is merit-based. For certain courses such as MBA and BTech, the admission criteria is entrance-based. The University accepts various national level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, JEE Main etc. to shortlist candidates.

For MBA admission, the University also conducts a personal interview round.

After the selection process is completed, the University will issue a offer letter for selected candidates. The candidates have to accept that offer letter by paying the admission confirmation fee. On payment of the admission confirmation fees, selected candidates will be recieve and admission confirmation mail on their registered email ID.

Uttaranchal University BCom programme lasts for three years and is spread across six semesters. The programme duration is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Additionally, the curriculum differs for each BCom specialisation. After completing BCom degree from Uttaranchal University, candidates can pursue field of financial accounting, Business Law, Economics, etc. as business analytics, Chartered Accountant (CA), Auditor, Manager, etc. The unoversity offers palcements oppurtunities in top companies such as Yamaha, Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, etc.

Uttaranchal University offers BCom in the field of accounting, finance, Taxation, Economics and graduates with B.Com (Hons) also look for certification as Chartered Accountant (CA) and other related certificates. The three years BCom (Hons) programme helps  students to explore in the field of finance and accounting. 

Uttaranchal University has multiple qualifications for BSc Nursing. Candidates willing to get admission in the BSc Nursing programme must have:

• a minimum age of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• twelve years of school education with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with 60% aggregate from recognised boards under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent boards.
• For SC/ST/OBC, a minimum of 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together.
• must be medically fit
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 examinations in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) with 60% are also qualified.

Yes, Uttaranchal University offers scholarships for its BSc course. Candidates who gets admitted to the BSc programme are eligible to avail these scholarships services. 

• Girl Candidate are offered 5% scholarship on Net Academic Fee (after merit scholarship) for the complete programme
• Defence Personnel are offered 5% scholarship on Net Academic Fee (after merit scholarship) for the complete programme
• Alumni of Uttaranchal University (only in 1st year) are offered 10% scholarship on Net Academic Fee (after merit scholarship) for the complete programme
