Uttaranchal University has secured the NIRF rank of 75 in "Pharmacy" category in the year 2025. At the UG level, courses like BTech, BBA, BCA, BA LLB, BCom, etc. are offered. At the PG level, courses like MTech, MBA, MPharma, LLM, etc. are offered. A total of 2,356+ students were placed during the placement drive in 2025 with the highest package of INR 1.5 Cr. In short, it has good rankings, offers a range of courses & good placement opportunities.

BTech & MBA are the flagship courses offered at the Uttaranchal University. BTech is offered in specialisations like Computer Science, Aerospace, Artificial Intelligence. MBA Executive is offered in specialisations like HR, Finance, Business Analytics, etc. BTech & MBA students secure high range of placements. In 2025, the International package of INR 1.5 Cr & domestic package of INR 60 LPA was offered to BTech CSE graduate. In MBA programme, the highest package offered was INR 26.4 LPA.

Uttaranchal University has not released the placement data for 2026. The top recruiters for MCA course are Yamaha, Reliance Retail, Accenture, Wipro and more. Whereas, at Graphic Era Hill University the top recruiters are Airtel, Accenture, Pwc, Naukri, TCS and more. Tata Healthcare offered INR 12 lacs during MCA course placement.

To get admission in Uttaranchal University MCA course, students must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. It is to pass BCA or BSc course during the UG level. Admissions are offered on the basis of merit. Whereas, in Graphic Era Hill University, the admission is done on the basis of CUET PG and UKSEE entrance exams.

Uttaranchal University charges INR 1.28 lacs in the first year for MCA course. However, the fee structure varies as per marks obtained in the UG course. Fees are applicable as per Uttarakhand quota and All India quota. It has other components like development fee, academic fee, merit fee and other fee. Whereas, for Graphic Era Hill University, the total course fees are INR 2.38 lacs. Students must weigh their criteria before selecting college for MCA course.
