VIT Chennai BSc application fees is INR 600. The application fees deposited by candidates is inclusive of GST and is non-refundable. The application fees can only be paid through the online mode using Net banking/ Debit card/ Credit card.

VIT Chennai BSc curriculum for the Computer Science specialisation is divided into Discipline Core Courses,  Discipline Elective Courses,  Ability Enhancement Courses, Skill Enhancement Elective Courses, Value Added Courses and, Open Elective Courses. VIT Chennai BSc median package for the year 2022 offered to the graduates as disclosed in the NIRF report 2023 was INR 3.82 LPA. Out of the 652 total students, 132 students from the UG programme got placed. Some of the major recruiters participated in the placement process include Amazon, PwC, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc.
