Entrance exam is not required for admission to BBA in VIT Vellore, as the admission is entirely merit based and counselling. Also candidates have to be eligible- Class 12 with at least 65% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST and others) with Commerce /Accountancy /Book Keeping and Accountancy /Mathematics /Business Maths & Statistics /Business Studies /Business Management /Business Economics /Economics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination

VIT Vellore offers scholarships in the form of tuition waivers and freeships. While merit scholarships are awarded to class toppers, economically challenged students are provided need-based financial assistance. Furthermore, NRI and foreign students are given scholarships upon presenting meritorious records. Admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE/ VITMEE score followed by a counselling round. After completion of the selection rounds, Vellore Institute of Technology releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
