Yes, VIT Vellore is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an 'A+' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It was established in 1984 as a self-financing institution called the Vellore Engineering College under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

The BBA programme costs between INR 1.1 Lacs and INR 1.6 Lacs in total. A 3,000 Indian rupee caution deposit is included in the cost. After all selection processes are finished, candidates must pay the course cost to secure their spot. If an applicant fails to make the required payment within the allotted time, their admission will be revoked. To apply for admission, candidates will also have to pay a registration fee.
