Your prospects of getting into a veterinary college in Andhra Pradesh are minimal but not impossible if you have an APEAMCET rank of 8600. Higher ranks are usually required for admission to prestigious veterinary colleges like College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati, and Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University1. Still, you might be able to get in through management quota seats or less difficult universities. Use the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET college predictor tool to have a more precise understanding of your possibilities.

You can't get a seat in the government veterinary college with a rank of 40,000, despite you're a ST category candidate. The last year Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cutoff was from 8644 to 15004 in the veterinary Science branch for ST category candidates. But if you want, you can pursue your career in private colleges but the real fact is that, it's not a good choice to study such a dignified branch in private colleges. Better prepare well and practice so that you may get qualified in the next year, that too in a government college as it has got the best study and lab facilities for veterinary Science so that students can learn and develop.

  • Do the Needed Coursework: Enroll in and complete the minimum required undergraduate coursework in basic sciences, like biology and chemistry, which are essential in admission to most veterinary schools.
  • Get Veterinary Experience: Try to gain some veterinary work experience.
  • Study for Entrance Exams: Most veterinary schools require candidates to take an entrance exam.
  • Get into Veterinary School: If accepted, complete the degree.
