Hi Aakam,
Congratulations for you JEE results!
My Computer Engineer friends had also scored almost similar percentiles at our time of JEE. They got the admission in first, second or last rounds. I would suggest you to be ready for IT branch as well. You will definitely get an admission.
So, Don't worry! Even if you don't get your desired branch in the first round, then wait for the subsequent rounds. You'll definitely get it.
I hope this helps.
All the Best!

Hi Ishwar,
One of my friends had scored 98 percentile at our time of JEE. He was from an open category and he had got an admission in VIT, Pune. So even if there is a gap of few years, cut offs never change drastically. Depending upon category, cut off might reduce. If you are under reservation, just make sure that you have a caste certificate and a caste validity certificate along with as well.
So, don't worry! Even if you don't get Computer branch in the first round, then wait for the second one. You'll get it if you have a good enough score.
I hope this helps.
All the Best!

Hi,
Direct second year admission is definitely considered in VIT, Pune. It is generally referred with an acronym 'SEDA' (Second Year Direct Admission). For that you need to have scored more than 80-85% in your diploma. If you are ready to leave your full time job at the time of admission, you will be allowed. As this is a full time course and not a distance learning program, you will be supposed to attend all the classes. So having a job currently is not a problem, but you will have to appear for class daily once you join the college.
I hope this helps!
All the Best!

VIT University does not accept JEE Main scores for admission. They conduct an entrance exam called VITEEE based on which they admit students every year.

Hello Ankit,
According to me, the admission in any college of engineering is not done only on the basis of your 12th board marks. One of the criteria for admission is that you should have at least 50% in board and the other one how much do you score in JEE-Mains or in MHT CET. So, you have to have a decent score in one of the two.

Hello Janvi,
The admissions in VIT are basically done on the basis of your score in JEE Mains or MHT-CET and you should have minimum 50% in 12th boards. These are the main criterias for the admission.
And for reference last year's cut offs are,
MHT-CET - 143/154
JEE Mains - 116/118

Hello Pravin,
Congratulations on your Diploma results. You'll mostly get into this college with this result but the chances for the same in first round are quite lesser. But you'll get it in the next rounds.
All the best!
