Since VITEEE is held in slots, there are chances that some papers may be comparitively difficult than the others. The authorities will ensure that the scoring process is balanced out by using the equating methodology. Through this process, the scores on the test forms will be adjusted. The percentile ranks will be identified and the scores on different forms with the same percentile rank will be considered equivalent.

Since the examination will be held in different slots, the methodology will be used to maintain fairness and equality while the marks and ranks are being allotted.
